Ga. Tech kicked Miami's assssss last night, woo!

Michigan @ Ohio St. will be painful to watch. In fact, every single football game from 11am until 2:30pm will be painful to watch.

I included Ga. Tech basketball because 1) I'm a fan, and 2) Mercer has already knocked off both Alabama and Auburn in the span of four days. This should be interesting.

Caution: Syracuse @ Notre Dame might cause nausea, dry mouth, diarrhea, problems sleeping, anxiety/agitation, weight changes, and/or problems with sexual health. You have no chance to survive make your time. Ha ha ha ha ....

No Washington team should ever be televised. This includes The University of Washington, Washington St. University, the Seattle Seahawks, the Seattle Super Sonics (aw, snap, I went there), and the Mariners. If they have a WNBA team, they're included. And just for good measure, let's toss in the Redskins and the Nationals, too.

Michigan St. @ Penn St. Finally, a good game. I guess I can plan to wake up around 2 tomorrow.

Ole Miss did Florida on the road. Can they do the same to LSU? Anyone who saw the Troy (St.) game will say yes.

Northwestern is not on TV this week! BC is on for the second week in a row.

Vandy fans: Tomorrow is the last chance you'll have to beat Fat Phil. Make it count.

I was going to say something about Texas Tech and Oklahoma, but nothing really comes to mind. I'm rooting OU.

Bama and Auburn are both off this week. Said Saban, "No potty words this time, just Roll Tide."

Man, you're right: Those early games do suck. A lot. But I think I'll enjoy watching Tennessee lose to Vandy, and I rather suspect you will too.

Not worried about the TCU-Air Force game. AFA runs a triple-option offense. TCU leads the nation in run defense — by a lot. I'm just happy I'll get to watch it at work tomorrow afternoon because it's on VS.

Oh, and btw, don't you just love that Utah-BYU is on the MWC's network so that nobody can see it? I think that's just nifty.

I think Washington-WSU is on because some people want to see the train wreck that game will surely be.

Some of the later games are pretty interesting, though. Some decent ACC games; Mich. St.-Penn St.; Pitt-Cincy (possibly the Big Least title game); and Oregon St.-Arizona should all be worth watching. And the way the Tigers have played lately, LSU-Ole Miss could be interesting as well.

Then there's Texas Tech-OU. I'm a bit ambivalent on that one. I really like OU, I really hate Tech and I would love to see the utterly unfair chaos that would ensue if the BcS voters get to decide the Big XII South, but on the other hand I do like the idea of someone from outside of the 15 or so big-name programs breaking into the title game. Oh well, screw it, I'm saying Boomer Sooner.
